Nature’s Dock Welcomes Qigong Instructor Mary Ann Poinelli.

Nature’s Dock welcomes Qigong Instructor Mary Ann Poinelli                                                               Mary Ann Poinelli.

Mary Ann received her instructor certification from Lee Holden of Santa Cruz California and has also studied extensively with Master Yang Yang, of the Center for Taji Studies, in New York City.

Not yet widely practiced in our area, Qigong (pronounced “chee-gung”), is an ancient Chinese system of techniques and exercise skills, that are easy to learn. Like bamboo in the wind, Qigong practice promotes both internal strength and flexibility. Regular practice of Qigong has been shown to reduce joint pain and stress, increase flexibility, and improve balance and sleep quality.

Join Mary Anne Poinelli, as she offers an introduction to Qigong, with an emphasis on keeping balance and energy throughout the holiday season. “Through gentle stretches, flows, pressure point self-massage, breathing practices and meditations, we’ll give ourselves time to move our bodies, clear our minds and open our hearts.”

Her class will meet once weekly, at Nature’s Dock, for one hour on Thursdays (except during holiday weeks). Please wear comfortable clothes, including indoor shoes, bring a yoga mat or beach towel for lying on the floor (or use one of ours), and don’t eat for one hour prior to class. Six classes @ 75.00. Limited space available. Registration form here-https://adobeformscentral.com/?f=e90od6R9sKHDb7keF9iNHA
